In short: the tables you paste are converted only in your browser and are never uploaded. TableGale sets no cookies and runs no analytics, ads or tracking. The site's host, GitHub Pages, logs visitors' IP addresses for security.

Your text and files

Every tool works on your own device: the text you paste, or the file you open, is read and converted by JavaScript in your browser, and the result is copied to your clipboard or saved straight to your device. Nothing is uploaded, stored or seen by TableGale — there is no server that receives it. Once a page has loaded, copying and the CSV download keep working offline; Download XLSX does too after its first use, when the 280 KB writer has loaded. That writer is the one extra download: the first time you click Download XLSX, the page fetches the script from tablegale.top itself, and the file is still built on your device.

When you use a Copy button, the result goes to your clipboard through the browser; what the program you paste into does with it is governed by that program.

No cookies, analytics, ads or tracking

• Fonts and the XLSX writer are served from tablegale.top itself. The pages do not load Google Fonts or anything from third-party servers or CDNs, so opening a page contacts only the site's host.

Hosting: GitHub Pages

TableGale is hosted on GitHub Pages, a service of GitHub, Inc. Like any web server, it receives your IP address when your browser requests a page, and GitHub states that "when a GitHub Pages site is visited, the visitor's IP address is logged and stored for security purposes" (GitHub Pages documentation — Data collection). GitHub processes these logs under the GitHub General Privacy Statement. This hosting is needed to deliver the site securely (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). TableGale adds no logging or analytics of its own.

Contact by email

Bug reports and suggestions go to the email address on the contact page. An email naturally contains your address and whatever you write; it is used only to answer you and to fix the problem, is not shared with anyone, and is deleted once the matter is closed. The mailbox is a Gmail account, so the message is also processed by Google under its own privacy policy. Do not send a table that contains personal data — a small made-up example that shows the problem is enough.

Who runs TableGale

TableGale is run by an independent developer and is not affiliated with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, GitHub or Microsoft. The way to reach the developer is the email address on the contact page.

Your rights

TableGale keeps no accounts, database or logs of its own, so apart from an email you send it holds no personal data about you to access, correct or erase. To have an email you sent deleted, say so in a message. Under the GDPR you also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU country where you live or work.

Changes

There are no ads or analytics today. If either is ever added, this page will be updated before it goes live, with the new date above.
